Let us worship Christ together!

Ministry Leaders

Jesus Christ is the head of our church, and we believe the Bible to be authoritative for our faith and practice.

Serving under Christ, our pastors and deacons serve the church through their respective offices as taught in Scripture.

Hello, and thank you for visiting our website. My wife, Jen, and I were married on Long Island, NY in 2001. We are blessed with two daughters, and I thank the Lord for my family.

In 2004, the Lord saved me and changed my life. Several years later the Lord made it apparent that obeying him meant entering the ministry. While living in New York I completed my training, served on staff at our church, and was ordained. In 2010 we started a church and I pastored there until 2018. In the summer of 2018 my family moved here, to Larimore, and I served as the assistant pastor for just over a year, and then the church called me to be their pastor after my predecessor retired.

I believe strongly that faithful preaching of the Scriptures builds strong and healthy lives and churches, so I am committed to expositional preaching through the Bible.

My prayer is that you, or anyone else, senses the reverence for God and his Word we have here at Harvest Baptist Church.

NICK GALUMBUS, ASSOCIATE PASTOR

Nick was blessed to grow up in a Christian home, and was saved at the age of 16. A couple years later, the Lord began to convict him about his need to surrender to preach. He fought this call for months as he had other plans for his life, but he finally surrendered to this call during a Missions Conference. Shortly thereafter he started his formal training in his local church. After graduation, he spent time traveling throughout southern Africa helping and learning from different missionaries. From 2021-2023, He served on staff at Bible Baptist Chruch in Grand Forks assisting with their Digital and Media Ministry, Children's Ministry, as well as teaching in the Bible Institute. In March of 2024, Nick was called by Harvest Baptist Church to serve as Associate Pastor.

I thank God for His love for me and that while I was yet a sinner Christ died for me! Romans 5:8. As a young person during my fifth grade year of elementary school, while living with my grand parents, I turned to the Lord and put my trust in Him to save me. Following the military tradition of my father, I too joined the Air Force and served for nearly 23 years. My family and I was first introduced to Harvest Baptist Church (formerly New Testament Baptist Church), in 1999 while stationed at Grand Forks Air Force Base. After attending there for three short years our family moved to Germany and then back to the states for our final two years in the military. We returned to the church in Larimore, where my wife and I have served aince 2007. Both my wife and I are active in the choir, and I enjoy playing the guitar and singing special music from time to time.

Hi! My name is Scott Phelps. My wife Janna and I have been married for 37 years. We have two grown, married children and two lovely granddaughters. I was born and raised in north central Pennsylvania and Janna in lower Michigan but, after being transferred here with the USAF, we have called North Dakota home for over 31 years. It truly is a privilege to serve here at Harvest Baptist Church. God has been so good! Since coming to know Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour in 1997, it has been my desire to serve Him, do His will and try to be a blessing to others while doing it. I look forward to meeting you.
